My mom is one of the best people I know and can be an example to all in how kind she treats everyone and her patience and vigor for life.
I Love you mom!

Y MOUNTAIN
I didn't hike Y Mountain today but I did hike to the Y. This picture captures what you see from time to time from the campus of Brigham Young University. It also hides the scar the trail leaves up to the Y. But speaking of scars...something even worse than that is a project that was done on the bench of the moutain that just looks horrible to those of use who care....and for those that care I hiked the Y in 45 minutes up and back.

THEE CANDY BAR
Provo, UT. Today on the Campus of BYU, I passed a bag of M&M's and a Twix on the ground with 30 cents but just about as my natural instincts of picking up the candy and eating it kicked in I thought maybe it was to good to be true and that someone was playing a practical joke.....so I just kept walking. Twenty feet later I saw I SNICKERS bar on the ground!!! Someones bag must of been wide open...but still fearing a psychological experiment I kicked the SNICKERS bar to make sure it wasn't attached to anything. It wasn't. I ate it. It was just what the doctor ordered....Now there is an idea...a Dr. Pepper candy bar.
This package of NIBS was given to me by my sweetheart on Valentine's Day 2006.

BABY ETHAN
Bountiful, UT. This is montage collage of little baby Ethan who is only a month and a half old. He is a cute little thing and looks just like his father....I don't mean that his father looks like a baby...but that he looks like his father did when he was a baby.

BRACKEN HAD A BABY
Provo, UT. Today Bracken, one of my best friends of almost two years had a baby. She's a cutie...although the doctors don't really know if Tania had anything to with it. Hopefully she approved. Word is still out whether she has name yet or even if it is a girl! Yikes!
This reminds me of when I had a baby too. It sure is an exciting part of life!!!

LEE'S FERRY BRIDGE
Taken circa December 2004 in Cheat Lake, West Virginia
The Lee's Ferry Bridge crosses Cheat Lake near Morgantown, WV. I actually don't think this is a lake but rather a lakeish like part of the Cheat River perhaps. According to Wikipedia.org The Cheat River is a tributary of the Monongahela in eastern West Virginia and southwestern Pennsylvania in the United States. Via the Monongahela and Ohio Rivers, it is part of the Mississippi River Shed.
Bridges are cool in West Virginia and Pennsylvania...partly because the areas are so mountainous (at least according to locals) or hilly (according to those of us from Utah).
One of the most famous bridges in the world is located in the southern part of WV. It is the New River Gorge bridge which spans over 3000 feet and is almost 900 feet off the river below. The bridge is actually featured on West Virginia's quarter.

THE DAY AFTER
Well I guess it should probably be said two days after...which is better! What am I talking about...it is that Rusty who is my wife's cousin from WV got engaged. The word on the street is that it happenned at Bridal Veil Falls where they first became boyfriend/girlfriend.
The above picture is of the Bridal Veil Range and doesn't show the actual falls...which are beautiful but this picture entrigued me because it is what you see going up and down Provo Canyon. This is a view that I had everyday for about eight months as I drove up and down the canyon traveling from Aspen Grove to BYU.
This picture to the left is taken from Aspen looking towards what many people think is Mt. Timpanogos but it is not. It is called Robert's Horn.
I'll miss the Rocky Mountains when we move back east but look forward to exploring the Shenandoah.

Forgive the ridicolous look on my face and take a look at what is in the glass....if it looks brown to you....you are right, but do you have any idea what it might be?
It is a strawberry-kiwi mix...not exactly what I thought it would look like. I put in two cut up kiwis without their skin and a handful of strawberries with a little ice.
It is not quite as exoctic as was expected!

The View from our Apartment in Provo, UT
Life is Busy...yes that is with a capital "B" Trying to figure out where to live in a place you have never lived is an experience a lot of college grads go through, but I guess you just never now until you go through...funny how experiences of life are like that.
